• September 17: Wellness Expo returns Oct. 1, open to all students and employees

  The UDM Wellness Center will hold this fall鈥檚 Wellness Expo on Thursday, Oct. 1, from 12-2 p.m. in the Student Union Ballroom.

  Over 40 vendors will be present, and attendees will have the opportunity to get this year鈥檚 flu shot. Free snacks are also available as well as a therapy horse, raffles and more.

  All are welcome to this free event.

• September 17: UDM to host NAMI Walk Michigan, Sept. 19; Join the Titans team

  The 2026 walk in Michigan is set for Saturday, Sept. 19 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on University of 蜜桃导航’s McNichols Campus. All are welcome to join. It’s the third-straight year the University has hosted the NAMI walk.

  with your friends, family, colleagues or classmates and support mental health.

  Get involved and make a difference in the lives of Americans living with mental health concerns. If you shake a hand, give a fist bump or cheer with your team, this NAMI Walk is one of the most powerful days of the year, and you can make a real difference.

  Please save the date and consider signing up for the walk or donating to mental health programs. Further details will be provided soon.

• September 17: Dialogues@SACD kicks off lecture series, Sept. 18

  The SACD will hold the first event in its Dialogues@SACD series, titled “Community Repair: Development, Demolition, and Resurgence of Oakland Avenue,” on Friday, Sept. 18, from 4-6 p.m., in the Loranger Architecture Building Exhibition Space.

  This conversation between Wil Marquez, executive director of , and Natosha Tallman, program director of , will explore the role of design and community collaboration in support of urban development and food sovereignty in Detroit.

  Dialogues@SACD invites students, faculty, staff, alumni and interested Detroit communities to learn together and discuss pressing concerns impacting the built environment and community development in the region and globally.

  In 2026-27, Dialogues@SACD topics will explore:

  • How should architecture and community development be practiced today鈥攄uring a period of conflict and transition?
  • Climate catastrophe and geopolitical upheavals changing the landscape of the world in long-lasting ways that are concrete and spatial.
  • What practices do built environment professionals need to hone to make positive impacts in the short- and long-term?

• September 17: Grab free lunch, UDM swag at Thank-a-Donor Day, Sept. 22

  Thank A Donor Day takes place Tuesday, Sept. 22, from 12:30-2 p.m. in the Fountain Lounge of the Student Union on the McNichols Campus.

  Several activities are planned to educate students about how alumni and friends of 蜜桃导航 enrich all aspects of the University. 蜜桃导航 can:

  • Write a thank-you note to a donor and receive a free lunch.
  • Create a photo or video message to thank donors and be entered into a drawing for a $25 Visa gift card!
  • Participate in fun games to test skill and UDM philanthropic knowledge and earn 蜜桃导航 swag!
  • Hunt for one of four plushies wearing Titans swag belonging to Tommy Titan on the McNichols Campus and choose which 蜜桃导航 fund will receive a gift from an anonymous donor 鈥� and keep the plushie!
  • Wear 蜜桃导航 or Titan apparel for an extra chance to win prizes!

• September 17: Plant clippings needed for Mercy Day student project

  In recognition of Mercy Day on Sept. 24 and this year’s Mercy concern of “Care for the Earth,” University Ministry is collecting plant clippings for a special student craft project.

  Faculty and staff are encouraged to donate plant clippings suitable for propagation. Clippings can be dropped off at the University Ministry Office in the Lower Level of the Student Union between 9:30 and 11 a.m. on Sept. 24.

   

• September 17: Celebrate community at TENN garden party, Sept. 18

  All are welcome to help Titan Equity Nourish Network (TENN) celebrate our community and bustling garden with an evening of food and harvesting on Friday, Sept. 18.

  The garden party is set to begin at 5:30 p.m. at the TENN and Martin Park Community Garden, located at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 16100 Lawton St., in Detroit.
